Launch date: Wednesday, November 11, 2026, 08:00 UTC

Automatically removes visible text from images and uses AI to reconstruct the background covered by the text. Supports JPG, PNG, and WebP, processing up to 10 images per batch. You can also specify which text to remove via custom instructions. Ideal for cleaning up product photos, posters, memes, and screenshots.
Comments will be available once the project is launched.
RemoveText is an AI-powered tool that erases visible text from images and rebuilds the background hidden underneath it. Instead of leaving a blurred patch where words used to be, it generates matching texture, color, and local detail so the edited area still looks believable. You upload a picture, let the AI identify and strip the text, then download a clean version in the same aspect ratio.
The AI generates matching texture, color, and local detail rather than leaving a flat blur behind. This keeps the repaired area consistent with the rest of the image.
You can add a short custom instruction to explain which words should be removed and which details should stay. That's useful when one sign needs to disappear while another remains unchanged.
Add up to 10 images to a single processing batch, with each file supported up to 20 MB. JPG, PNG, and WebP are all accepted.
Results keep the source aspect ratio and can be downloaded as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Downloads are watermark-free.
Text removal only matters when the edited area still looks believable — RemoveText rebuilds what the words were hiding.
That focus on reconstruction, rather than simple erasing, is what separates it from a basic blur tool. The optional custom instructions add a layer of control for cases where only specific text should go. And the three-step flow — upload, instruct, review and download — keeps the process quick without manual brushing.
You regularly deal with images where text gets in the way — product shots, posters, memes, or screenshots — and you want the background to look natural afterward. It's also a good fit if you need to remove only certain words while leaving others untouched, or if you process several images at once and want consistent, watermark-free results.
