Geo-grid Google Maps rank tracker with heatmaps and competitor reports for local SEO agencies.

SeoMap is a Google Maps rank tracker built around a geo-grid. Instead of measuring a single coordinate and pretending that result holds everywhere, it lays a GPS grid over your service area and runs a real Maps search at every point. The outcome is a colour-coded heatmap: green where you rank on top, red where a competitor takes over.
That difference matters because Maps rankings are location-dependent. You can be #1 two hundred metres from your door and invisible three kilometres away — exactly where enquiries from the next neighbourhood quietly disappear. SeoMap turns that invisible geography into something you can see, export and compare over time.
The grid is freely configurable from 5Ă—5 up to 21Ă—21, with sizes above 15Ă—15 reserved for paid plans. It can be square or circular, with spacing up to you, and every point is a real Maps search on desktop or mobile.
The map fills in real time as the scan runs — 169 measurement points in under three minutes. Clicking any grid point reveals the full top 20 at that coordinate, including ratings, review counts and ad labelling.
A ranking of businesses by top-3 placements across every point shows who dominates your grid. Scan comparison then puts two scans side by side with a delta per grid point: improved, dropped, new or lost.
One click produces a print-ready report with heatmap, metrics and competitor table. Any heatmap can also be shared by link with no login required, which suits client reports and prospecting emails.
The gap between ARP and ATRP is the truth. If you sit at 9.7 where you show up — but 11.3 across every point — then any single-point tool is hiding half the story.
SeoMap reports three numbers rather than a wall of vanity metrics: ARP (average rank position where you're found at all), ATRP (the average including "not found") and SoLV (share of grid points where you rank in the top 3). ATRP is the honest one, and it's trackable over time with a trend chart per project and keyword rather than a two-scan comparison. Exact matching by Google CID/Place-ID also means the target business is identified precisely, not by fuzzy name matching.
You're an agency, freelancer or local business that suspects a single-point rank number is flattering you. If your service area spans several neighbourhoods and you want proof of where visibility starts and stops, SeoMap's grid, heatmap and before/after comparison are built for exactly that conversation.
