This project is scheduled for launch
Launch date: Saturday, December 12, 2026, 08:00 UTC

Most language apps and courses are built for the road to B1: the grammar, the pronunciation and the first thousand words everybody needs. Vokabulo is a personal vocabulary trainer for what comes after. Once a learner can already speak, the words they still lack come from their own work, conversations and interests, so there is no shared list left for a course to teach. Vokabulo lets them capture any word they meet, fills in the translation, a natural example sentence and a usage label, and brings it back at the moment they would otherwise lose it, until they can reach for it under pressure. They can also describe a situation they are about to face, a rental contract appointment or a client presentation, and get the vocabulary for it in under a minute. Vokabulo supports more than 100 languages in any pair combination, runs on iPhone and iPad, and is free to start.
Comments will be available once the project is launched.

Vokabulo is a personal vocabulary trainer built for the stage of language learning that most apps never reach. Courses and mainstream language apps are designed to carry learners to B1 โ the grammar, the pronunciation, and the first thousand words everyone needs. Past that point, the words a learner is still missing come from their own work, conversations, and interests, so no shared syllabus can predict them. Vokabulo is designed around that reality: you capture the words you actually meet, and the app fills in the translation, a natural example sentence, and a usage label, then brings each word back at the moment you would otherwise lose it. It supports more than 100 languages in any pair combination, runs on iPhone and iPad, and is free to start.
Add a word or phrase you heard, read, or struggled to recall, and Vokabulo fills in the translation and a natural example. Voice input and CEFR-matched tags are part of the capture flow.
Describe a situation โ a rental contract appointment or a client presentation โ and get the vocabulary for it in under a minute. Ready-made examples include job interviews, salary negotiation, calling in sick, and apologising.
Curated sets cover areas such as banking and payments, business negotiation, customer service, doctor and pharmacy visits, and job interview preparation.
Words return for practice at the point where they would otherwise slip away, with a simple swipe to mark what you knew and what you didn't.
Most apps and courses get you to B1. Vokabulo takes you further.
That single idea shapes everything else. Instead of a fixed curriculum, the app treats your own life as the syllabus, so the vocabulary you drill is the vocabulary you'll actually reach for. The result is a trainer aimed at the B1-to-C2 stretch, where the gap is no longer grammar but precision.
You can already hold a conversation but keep hitting the wall of not finding the right word. If your vocabulary needs come from your job, your reading, or your daily life rather than a textbook, Vokabulo is built for exactly that gap โ and it's free to start.

Soniox is a multilingual voice AI platform that unifies speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and real-time translation in a single API across 60+ languages and 3,600 language pairs. It's built for the hardest parts of voice AI โ seamless mid-sentence language switching, alphanumerics, foreign names, multi-speaker conversations, and high-noise environments โ with native-speaker accuracy rather than English-first performance. Low-latency streaming transcribes with sub-200ms latency and starts generating speech from the first few words. The same models and API deploy globally with in-region processing to meet latency, data residency, and regulatory needs. Trusted by Perplexity, Samsung, LG, Wonderful, DeliverHealth, and many others. Whatever you're building โ voice agents, wearables, live captioning, dictation, or speech-to-speech translation โ Soniox is the speech layer powering your voice AI product.
Nitro is now the first human translation service an AI agent can order and pay for on its own โ no account, no API keys, no signup. Your agent sends the text, pays per request, and a professional native speaker translates it โ publication-ready in hours. Great for the smaller texts that still need to be right: ads, app updates, email sequences, and more. The ordering is machine-to-machine. The translating stays human. 80+ languages. No plans, no minimums.
