Founders know the drill: submit to a directory, wait, get a form-letter rejection, resubmit somewhere else. Directory Dash turns that into a Geometry Dash-style one-button rage game - you dash through 10 fictional directories (fake names, real pain), dodging captchas, 1-star reviews, and "$9,999 expedited review" upsells. Dying and reading the snarky rejection messages is the point; finishing clean feels like a miracle. Every run produces a permalinked result card you can share, and a spot on the Most Rejected Startups leaderboard. It's made by Blastra, an AI tool that actually submits real products to real directories - the game is the joke version of the problem Blastra solves for real.
Comments will be available once the project is launched.
Directory Dash is a one-button rage game from Blastra that turns the founder ritual of directory submissions into a Geometry Dash-style obstacle course. You dash through 10 fictional directories — fake names, real pain — dodging captchas, 1-star reviews, and "$9,999 expedited review" upsells. Dying and reading the snarky rejection messages is the point; finishing clean feels like a miracle.
Click or press any key to jump, and hold to keep jumping. Each directory's flag acts as a checkpoint once you pass it.
The course spans 10 made-up directories across a "Launch Week" level. The names are invented, but the frustration they represent is not.
Turn checkpoints off from the top right or with P for the real thing: every rejection restarts you from zero.
Every run produces a permalinked result card you can post to X or LinkedIn, plus a spot on the Most Rejected Startups leaderboard.
Every run counts: finished, gave up, or closed the tab.
That line captures the game's honest streak. Ghosted submissions are tracked separately from rejections, and the leaderboard counts all outcomes rather than only victories. It's a joke version of a real problem — Blastra actually submits real products to real directories, and Directory Dash is the parody of that same grind.
You've ever refreshed an inbox waiting on a directory review, or you just want a short, snarky one-button game where the rejection messages are the reward. A second level is in review, and you can leave an email to hear when it ships — rejection guaranteed.
